For any question about your data, write to that address. You do not need a particular form of words.

The waitlist form

If you sign up for the waitlist, we store what you enter: your name, your email address and, if you fill it in, your boat type. We also record which language version you used and when you signed up.

Purpose: To tell you once AnkerSepp is available, and to answer you if you write to us about it. Nothing else.
Legal basis: Your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You give it with the checkbox on the form; the form cannot be submitted without it. The time of signup is stored as proof of consent, as Art. 7(1) GDPR requires.
Withdrawal: You can withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future, by writing to office@AnkerSepp.com. We then delete your entry. Withdrawing does not make the processing up to that point unlawful.
How long we keep it: Until you withdraw your consent, and at the latest 24 months after we have told you that AnkerSepp is available.
Recipients: Your data is not sold, not passed to advertisers and not used for profiling. It is technically accessible to the providers that host this site and deliver our email, acting as processors on our instructions.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Render Services, Inc., San Francisco, California, USA, on servers in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Your data is therefore stored in the EU. Render is a US company, so access from the United States cannot be ruled out for support and maintenance; that transfer rests on the standard contractual clauses in Render's data processing agreement.

Each time a page is requested, the server records technical data: the IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser identification. This is needed to deliver the site and to recognise attacks, and rests on our legitimate interest in operating it securely, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising and no tracking cookies. There is nothing to consent to, which is why there is no cookie banner. These are the only cookies used:

No third-party servers

Every part of this page — typefaces, stylesheets, scripts, images and video — is delivered from AnkerSepp.com. Your browser contacts no other server, so no one else learns your IP address by your visiting us.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time for access to the data we hold about you (Art. 15), for it to be corrected (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17), for its processing to be restricted (Art. 18), and for it to be handed to you in a portable form (Art. 20). You may object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. The competent one for us is:

No automated decisions

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
